INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 peaches
  • 100 g of sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 125 g of natural yogurt
  • 200 g of wheat flour
  • 1 Tbsp (tea) baking powder
  • Gluten-free liquid caramel

PREPARATION:

Wash the peaches (you can use canned ones if you prefer), cut them in half and remove the seeds.

Preheat the oven to 180ºC.

In a bowl, add the sugar and eggs. Beat everything until you get a creamy dough. Add the yogurt and beat for about 3 to 5 minutes until well incorporated. Add the flour, baking powder and beat until the mixture is creamy and homogeneous.

Grease a mold with liquid caramel. Place the peach halves at the bottom of the pan.

Pour the mixture into the mold and place in the preheated oven at 180ºC for around 35 to 40 minutes. Insert a toothpick in the middle and, if it comes out dry, the cake is cooked.

Let cool and turn out onto a serving plate.
