Preparation

  1. Season the sardine fillets with salt, pepper and lemon juice. Leave to marinate for 30 minutes.

  2. Dip the fillets in flour, then in beaten eggs and, finally, in breadcrumbs.

  3. Fry in hot oil until golden and crispy.

  4. Serve with tomato rice or a fresh salad.
